The CP-03-SDS is a hybrid variation of the standard 03 aerial nozzle line, combining a poly body with both a stainless steel selector plate and a stainless steel 3-way deflector. This configuration gives operators the weight and cost advantage of a poly body while providing maximum component durability where it matters most — in the selector and deflector, which see the most wear and chemical exposure during operation.

The nozzle features a stainless steel four-orifice selector plate with sizes of .062, .078, .125, and .172 to precisely meter flow rates from 0.48 to 5.30 GPM at 30–60 psi. The stainless steel 3-way deflector offers deflection planes of 30°, 55°, and 90°, each producing an even flat fan pattern. The 30° plane typically produces larger droplets suited for herbicide applications, while 55° and 90° produce finer droplets for insecticide and fungicide work.

Like all nozzles in the 03 line, the CP-03-SDS performs best at aircraft speeds of 120 mph or less on both fixed-wing aircraft and helicopters, and all nozzle parts are replaceable for long service life.
