The CP-03-SS is a hybrid variation of the standard 03 aerial nozzle line, combining a poly body and poly deflector with a stainless steel selector plate. This configuration prioritizes durability in the selector — the component most subject to wear from repeated orifice changes — while keeping the overall nozzle lightweight and cost-effective. Like all nozzles in the 03 line, it performs best at aircraft speeds of 120 mph or less on both fixed-wing aircraft and helicopters.

The nozzle features a stainless steel four-orifice selector plate with sizes of .062, .078, .125, and .172 to precisely meter flow rates from 0.48 to 5.30 GPM at 30–60 psi. The poly 3-way deflector offers deflection planes of 30°, 55°, and 90°, each producing an even flat fan pattern. The 30° plane typically produces larger droplets suited for herbicide applications, while 55° and 90° produce finer droplets for insecticide and fungicide work.
